Board game Club
The Appian Youth Board Game Club is a free after-school program for students in grades 6 or higher. The program supports board game clubs at schools and our partner organizations near Appian’s headquarters in Tysons Corner, VA. By playing tabletop strategy games, students develop critical-thinking skills while engaged in a fun and challenging activity. Students also have the opportunity to practice important social skills like cooperation, negotiation, and communication. Helping young people to develop these skills will give them the tools they need to achieve success both in the classroom and throughout their lives.
Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been working with schools and partner organizations in our community to organize safe afterschool boardgaming activities for students. Participation in our programs is absolutley free. If your organization is interested in working with us, please contact Gavin Francis at firstname.lastname@example.org.
