THURN & TAXIS

In Thurn & Taxis, each player builds a postal system throughout various regions of the Germanic territories. To do so, each player tries to build an effective network of post offices (houses) in the cities on the map, acquire valuable carriages, and collect bonus tiles. Players can get help from the postal officials as the game progresses. When a player acquires a number 7 carriage or has placed all of their available postal houses, the game enters its final round. The player with the most victory points at the end of that round wins the game.

Kamisado

In Kamisado, players take turns moving discs on an 8 x 8 square board. Discs must be moved forward, either straight ahead or diagonally. They can't move backwards or sideways.  Discs can be moved  as far as the board and the opponent's pieces will allow. When a disc is placed on a new square, the color of that square determines the color of the disc that the opponent must move on their next turn. The player who is able to place a disc on their opponent's side of the board first wins the game.

Morris

Picture
Morris is a two-player game in which players take turns placing markers on line intersections on a game board. The goal is to capture the opponent's markers. After all markers have been placed on the board, players slide their markers along the lines to adjacent intersections. Markers cannot be placed on intersections which are already occupied. An opponent's marker can be captured whenever a player is able to position three of their own markers in a row, either horizontally or vertically. The game ends when one of the players has fewer than three markers left on the board.

Othello

Othello is a strategy game for two players which is played on an 8 x 8 square board. Each player has 32 discs which are dark on one side and light-colored on the other. Players take turns placing their discs on the board with their assigned color facing up.  On each turn, any discs of the opponent's color which are in a straight line between the disc just placed and another of the same color, are flipped. The winner is the player with the most discs of their color displayed when either the board has been filled or no more discs can be place.

Qango

QANGO is a simple disc-placement game in which two players take turns placing their discs on a 6 x 6 square multi-colored board. There are three ways to win: arrange three discs in one group of the same color, four discs in a square, or five discs in a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal row. The first player to achieve one of these patterns immediately wins the game.

Roll Through the Ages

In Roll Through the Ages, players develop their own civilizations. They acquire workers to build cities and monuments, collect goods, and then convert those goods into cultural and scientific developments. But they also have to balance this progress against the needs of their growing populations, making sure that there is enough food to feed the people. The player who manages to avoid disasters and build the most advanced civilization  wins the game.

Claim It!

The year is 1855, the place: the American West. You are a miner staking your claim and defending your territory from would-be claim jumpers and squatters. Claim all you can, but don't push your luck too far or you may end up busted! Can you build the largest mine and make your fortune in the wild frontier?

LAS VEGAS

Players try their luck in Las Vegas by placing dice on a game board, competing for money at various casinos. The player with the most dice at each casino wins the biggest payoff. Each player must decide at which casinos they should place their dice based on the payoff amount at each casino and the possibility of maintaining a winning dice total over consecutive dice rolls. A winning strategy depends on a players ability to think critically about risk and probability. The player with the most money at the end of the game wins.

Balloon Cup

In Balloon Cup, players compete in several short balloon flights (hops) to collect colored cubes associated with each hop. When a player has collected enough cubes of a given color, the player earns the trophy card for that color. The player who is the first to earn three trophy cards is the winner.

Just 4 Fun

Just4Fun is a game in which players try to occupy numbered squares on a board based on the value of cards each player is dealt. Players indicate that they have occupied a square by placing a marker on the square. The square is owned by whichever player has the most markers on that square. The first player to own four squares in a row (either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally) wins the game. If no player is able to complete a row of four after all makers have been played, then scores are calculated based on the value of the squares owned. The player with the highest score wins the game.

Spexxx

In Spexxx, players score points by placing cubes next to one another on a game-board at locations determined by rolling dice. Points are scored by placing three or more cubes in a row. The value of each cube varies depending on the region of the board where the cube is placed. Players must think strategically about dice combinations and placement of cubes in order to achieve the maximum possible score. The player with the highest score at the end of the game wins!

Six

Picture
In Six, players take turns placing tiles on a game-board in an attempt to create one of three winning shapes. These shapes include a triangle, a circle, and a line, each of which of which consist of six tiles. Players attempt to create one of these winning shapes while also trying to prevent their opponent from doing so. The first player to create one of these shapes wins the game.

RATTUS

It is the year 1347, and the plague, which is spread by rats, is devastating Europe. During the next 5 years, the population of Europe will decrease by half. Players settle in various regions of the continent, hoping to avoid the plague and keep their populations safe. Players gain help from peasants, monks, merchants, knights, witches, and kings, each of whom attempt to deal with the plague in their own way. But the plague does not make distinctions among the various classes of people, and all are at risk when the rats arrive. The player with the best protected population at the end of the game wins.

TERRA MYSTICA

In Terra Mystica, players govern one of 14 factions in an attempt to transform the landscape of the game-board favorably in order to gain power and territory. Proximity to other players on the board limits opportunities for further expansion, but this proximity also provides benefits. This conflict is the source of Terra Mystica's appeal, and the differing abilities of the factions makes possible many different game scenarios, keeping the game interesting and entertaining. Victory points are accrued throughout the game for a variety of actions. The game lasts six rounds, after which additional victory points are awarded. The player with the most victory points wins.​

BLACK FRIDAY

Black Friday is a wealth-building game, in which players attempt to acquire their fortunes by speculating on stocks, buying silver and gold, and attempting to influence the value of all of these  within the marketplace. Players start the game with no money, and must create income by favorable stock purchases and sales. The cash that is generated from these activities can then be used to acquire the precious metals needed to win the game. And, naturally, the government will help distressed entrepreneurs by offering subsidies. The player who is able to manipulate the market most skillfully and sell stocks before a market crash, has the best chance for victory!

The SPEICHERSTADT

It is the year 1900, and Hamburg, Germany, has developed as a major center for economic activity. Hamburg's harbor features a unique complex of storage houses known as The Speicherstadt (warehouse district). The dense web of loading canals and bridges rapidly develops into a vast terminal for spices, coffee, and carpets from all over the world. Players act as wholesale dealers residing in Hamburg at the boom years of the Speicherstadt, buying shiploads of goods and serving their clients. But business is not without risk, and players occasionally lose their goods to fires, which sometimes occur in the warehouse district. The player with the most successful business during the course of the game is the winner.

FIRENZE

In the 12th-14th centuries, the powerful and influential families of Florence didn't just compete with each other in trade and politics, they also tried to outdo one another by building tall tower homes as status symbols. In Firenze, players build the towers from different-colored bricks gained by acquiring game cards. But once a player starts construction on a tower, they must continue to add to it on every turn or it will be torn down as abandoned construction. Players receive prestige points for completed towers. Whoever has amassed the most prestige points by the end of the game wins.

7 Steps

7 Steps is an abstract disc placement game in which everything revolves around the number seven. Players place colored discs strategically on a the game-board according to specific rules, and score points based on placement. The board is made up of seven hex-like modular pieces which can be arranged in various configurations, which means that no two games are exactly alike. The winner is the player who achieves the highest score through clever disc placement.

Antike Duellum

In Antike Duellum, two mighty ancient empires sail the seas, found new cities, erect glorious temples, and develop new technologies. However, territories and resources are limited, and soon peaceful coexistence threatens to change to military conflict. Who can best manage their state affairs? Who can benefit their people most when engaging the vagaries of fate? And who has the strategic genius to lead their legions and fleets to victory? The answer lies in your hands.

Sudoku Moyo

In Sudoku Moyo, each player has four nine-place regions on the Sudoku-game board. Players take turns placing numbers within their own regions according to the general rules of Sudoku. Specifically, a number may only appear once in each region, row, and column. A player can prevent their opponent from completing placement of numbers in their regions by placing their own numbers strategically on the board. The player who places the last piece wins the game.
